The popular vote will decide the winners. Each person can vote as many times as they like. Each vote is a $1 donation to support Vallejo Community Access Television. A portion of the proceeds will go to support and JnW Reptile Rescue.
Submission period opens on July 18, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) and closes on August 15, 2021 at 11:59PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) (the “Contest Period”).
Public voting opens August 22, and ends August 27th, 2021.
Vallejo Community Access Television (VCAT), a 501(c)3 non-profit, public charity registered in the State of California with its principal office located at Jesse Bethel High School, 1800 Ascot Parkway, Vallejo, CA 94591. This Contest is intended for residents of the United States only, and by entering you agree that this Contest will be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. This Contest is being conducted by VCAT. No VCAT employees and personal associates, families (including those with VCAT directors, officers, representatives and agents of VCAT may enter or participate as contestants.
All participants (“Entrants”) submitting an entry (“Submission” or “Entry”) to the Contest must meet the following criteria:
Submissions will be rejected if the required fields of the Entry Form (labeled with *) are not fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification.
There is no limit on the number of entries during the submission period. VCATis not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, corrupted, or incomplete Submissions. VCAT has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of or to return any Submissions received.

(3) Registration: Complete the official Contest online entry form (the “Entry Form”) in its entirety including: first name, last name, pets’ name, pet video description, other pet information, contact information and entrance fee per pet video successfully received.
By submitting an Entry Form and other required submission materials, the Entrant:
(i) warrants and represents that he/she has read these Official Contest Rules or has had these Rules translated for them into the Entrant’s first language and is eligible to participate in the Contest and agrees to be bound thereby;
(ii) warrants and represents that all of the information provided in his/her Submission materials is accurate;
(iii) that the Entrant is 18 years of age or older (under-aged entrants must have parent’s permission on release form), and
(iv) consents to the use of his/her name and/or likeness by VCAT and its respective authorized representatives for promotional purposes in connection with the Contest (whether online, in print or through any other media now known or hereafter developed), without additional compensation and unless prohibited by law; and
(iv) agrees that, if selected as the winner, Entrant will be solely responsible for any and all resulting tax consequences.
Entrants’ chances of being a Finalist or Winner are dependent on their adherence to the Rules and the Judges’ determination of the quality and relevance of the submitted Entry. This is not a sweepstakes where your odds of winning are determined solely by the overall number of Entrants. By participating in this Contest, Entrants waive any right to challenge the results, decisions by the Judges or the process described herein. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless VCAT and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensees, and agree to abide by all decisions of VCAT.
Each Entrant and all others associated in the creation of the Submission(s) grants to VCAT a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable right to use, edit, alter, copy, reproduce, disclose, display, publish, prepare derivative works from, perform, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Entry(s), including photos, in whole or in part, in connection with the Contest and/or as, in VCAT’s sole discretion, any other VCAT-related business use by means of any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed, including, but not limited to, broadcast and cable television, radio, mobile transmission, and the Internet, for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotion, entertainment and commercial purposes, without any payment to, or further authorization by, the entrant. Without limiting the foregoing, each Entrant consents to have the Entrant’s Entry, including photos, made available for public viewing and/or comment and/or rating and/or voting on the Internet. Entrants acknowledge and agree that VCAT may require, in its sole discretion, the execution of a more specific Grant of License for materials submitted. Entrants cannot later withdraw an Entry or this Grant of License once submitted. Nothing in this Agreement obligates the Greater Good Charities to make any use of any submitted Entry. VCAT reserves the right to take down a submitted Entry from the VCAT website, or to elect to not exhibit or promote any particular submitted Entry, or Entrant, even if the Entrant is a finalist or winner.
VCAT reserves the right to terminate the Contest, amend Contest Rules or change Contest Rules at any time without prior notice. Any Entrant in the Contest shall have no legal recourse against VCAT, its
agents, assigns, advertising agency and consultants and their respective employees for any such changes, cancellation or termination.
These Contest Rules, in combination with any shown on the Contest website, constitute the entire agreement between the Entrant and VCAT regarding any and all participation and supersede any other written or oral communications you may have with anyone, including any phone calls to our staff. This Entrant Participation Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
At the close of the submission period, August 15, 2021, VCAT and its representatives shall verify entries on adherence to the Contest’s submission description and requirements. Those selected will be aired on LOL Pet Video Show, August 31st, 2021.
August 22nd, at 12PM PST– Aug 27th, 2021 11:59 PM PDT VCAT website visitors may vote as many times ($1 per vote) daily for their favorite Entry of the Finalists, as selected by VCAT. Voting will take place on the Contest Site located at https://vcat.tv. Winners will be chosen based on votes. VCAT reserves the right to determine which votes are eligible.
Winners will be announced on August 31st (airtime to be determined) on LOL Pet Video Show.
In the event that we don’t reach at least 25 contest submissions, entries will automatically carry over to our ROUND TWO starting October 2021. Exact date to be announced.
The top three winners in each category (1st through 3rd) receive a trophy and bragging rights.
All winners will be showcased on LOL Pet Video TV Show on VCAT.
Additional awards to be determined based on sponsor donations.

All eligible Winners will be contacted by VCAT at the end of the contest. The Prize may be forfeited by an eligible Winner if that eligible Winner cannot be contacted within seventy-two (72) hours after the end of the Contest. Odds of winning prizes do not depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. None of the prizes awarded may be substituted and are not transferable.
If the identity of an on-line Entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the Entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered authorized. account holder. A selected Entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry or vote in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
By participating in the Contest, the Entrant shall consent to VCAT use of personal information as provided by the Entrant. VCAT holds the right to terminate the Contest, amend Contest rules or change Contest rules at any time without prior notice. Any Entrant in the Contest shall have no legal recourse against VCAT, and its agents, assigns, advertising agency and consultants and their respective employees for any such changes, cancellation or termination.
All decisions with respect to the administration of the Contest shall be made by representatives of VCAT and such decisions will be final and binding. The Contest shall be governed in accordance with California law, excluding all conflict of law rules. All information submitted in connection with this Contest will be treated in accordance with all applicable VCAT Official Contest Rules.
Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless VCAT and Contest Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any claims made by Winners, Entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize and/or participation in any Contest-related activity or participation in this Contest. Failure to return the completed Declaration and Release Forms within the time stipulated will result in disqualification and another Entry will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible Entry entries.
